Logline: Shakespeare trained 40-something actress Rory Connor, disillusioned by years of Broadway rejection, is on the verge of quitting—until the ghost of her eccentric Uncle Pete, a flamboyant actor cut down in his prime, reappears to haunt, guide, and hilariously motivate Rory to fulfill their shared dream of making it to the Great White Way.

Status: Season One Written, Unproduced.

Try, Try Again has been an Official Selection at Catalyst twice, first for the pilot, then for the third episode. It was a Second Rounder at Austin Film Festival. Mary also pitched Try, Try Again in Catalyst’s Pitchworld competition.  

Try, Try Again started as a webseries and later evolved it to the half-hour comedy it is now. The original title was Lines & Asides, which is quite different from the series.
